As part of my Erasmus, I had the opportunity to spend some time visiting the most iconic parts of Dublin. Moreover I wasn't alone in this trip, my family came to visit Dublin in the weekend.
We decided to visit the Dublin Castle where we took some photos from the garden.
As we can see in the photo, there are some lines in the center of the grass, these lines represent snakes which is a celtic symbol that means rebirth.
However, it exists a lot of different buildings that take part of this incredible city, for example, there is a very famous bridge that represents the harp of the irish republic flag.
This bridge is named as Samuel Beckett bridge, and it was designed by Santiago Calatrava, the most famous spanish architect.
Another famous monument is The Spire. This monument is 120 meters tall and it's almost impossible that any person in the city center can't see it from anywhere. It also has a light in the tip so even at night is easy to locate. Most people use this monument as meeting point when they will hang out with their friends.
I also want to add this photo of my sister, my brother in law, my father and me in front of the temple bar, the most iconic pub of Dublin.
In conclusion, Dublin is a very nice place to visit on holidays and it is also very comfortable to live. I don't discard the option to come back to work in a near future.
Even though I already left this city, I think some part of it will be with me in my whole live.
Thanks a lot for your article! We now know a lot more about this great city. I'm glad to know you bring so nice memories with you!!
